FENELON FALLS — When Raine Storey learned she had been chosen as one of 30 national Loran Award winners, the then-17-year-old couldn’t believe her good fortune. 

Four years later, Storey is still in awe of the impact receiving the award has had on her life academically, professionally, creatively, and personally.

INVESTING IN THE FUTURE 

At Queen’s there are many ex- ceptional students, and among those leading the way are the Loran Scholars.

The Loran scholars develop an ongoing connection with the Loran Scholars Foundation, the university and each other, says Raine Storey (Artsci’17), who is in her final year of the Bachelor of Fine Arts program.
